Leidos is hiring for a Warehouse Specialist to support our Orlando, FL logistics requirements for the US Army Common Hardware Systems – 6th Generation (CHS-6) contract. The Warehouse Specialist serves as a member of the Program Management team, reporting to the CHS-6 Logistics Operations Manager. CHS-6 is a recently awarded US Army IDIQ contract with a ceiling value of $7.9B over 10 years.

Primary Responsibilities
- Support tracking incoming materials for inventory; coordinate with quality control, purchasing, and planning to ensure components flow and visibility.
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack – Leidos will provide training and certification.
- Complete goods receipt of materials against purchase orders.
- Prepare and ship completed kits.
- Support property inventory and management functions; operate computer equipment and customized software for equipment tracking.
- Assist with operations of a supply room, including stocking shelves, inventory management, and shopping for resupply items.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization.
- Prepare and apply hardware marking labels and MIL-STD packaging labels prior to shipment.
- Coordinate and prepare for Government inspection activities.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma; preferred to be a graduate of a 2-year technical school. Five or more years of warehouse experience.
- US Citizenship required. Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience preparing orders for outbound shipping, including wrapping pallets, determining weight and dimensions, and coordinating with carriers.
- Experience conducting physical inspection and inventory upon receipt.
- Ability to assist with supply room operations, including stocking and inventorying.
- Ability to reconcile inventory data for tracking, monitoring, and shipping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of military supply/property management policies and procedures.
- Understanding of commercial and DOD packaging requirements.
