Responsibilities

• Accountability and movement of material from the warehouse to Fielding locations.
• Unload trucks, receive, and stock incoming equipment.
• Organize stock within warehouse space and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Inspect incoming products for defects and damages.
• Integrate components to make Major End Item systems.
• Prepare outbound shipments: pallets, banding, wrapping, loading.
• Assist in keeping the integration facility clean and organized.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for our team supporting the US Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will be responsible for the accountability and movement of material from the warehouse to Fielding locations. Duties may include the unloading, receiving, and stocking of inbound equipment and then integrating, packaging, and shipping of outbound materials to meet Fielding required delivery dates

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the accountability and movement of material from the warehouse to Fielding locations. Duties may include the unloading, receiving, and stocking of inbound equipment and then integrating, packaging, and shipping of outbound materials to meet Fielding required delivery dates
• You will unload trucks, receive, and stock incoming equipment
• You will organize stock within warehouse space and maintain inventory accuracy by performing monthly cyclic counts
• You will inspect incoming products for out of box defects and damages
• You will integrate components to make Major End Item systems
• You will be responsible of processing outbound shipment to include preparing pallets banding, wrapping, and loading onto trucks.
• Assist in keeping integration facility clean and organized daily
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to obtain and maintain secret clearance
• Expertise in US Army or DoD logistics inventory management
• Familiar with Excess Property Disposal, EPD (formerly DRMO)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Desired

• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems programs
• Certified to operate forklift.
• Familiar with Enterprise Logistics Management System, ELMS (formally DPAS) for Asset Management and Total Package Fielding
• Familiar with Electronic Turn-In Document (ETID) System
• Familiar with Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A)
• Familiar with other inventory management software

Pay Range

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage

$26.50
