Job summary

A leading defense contractor is seeking a Facilities Material Support Specialist in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves managing material support for Navy facilities operations, including research, inventory control, and delivery coordination. Key responsibilities include ordering materials, inspecting deliveries, operating forklifts, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates should have a valid driver's license, forklift certification, and the ability to lift materials. An ideal candidate will also have experience with Navy ERP systems and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Valid state driver's license and ability to maintain base driving authorization.
  • Current forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon assignment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform warehouse duties.
  • Experience with Navy ERP or similar supply systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to Navy safety procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

The Facilities Material Support Specialist provides logistical and material support to Navy facilities operations by managing material research, inventory control, and delivery coordination. This position ensures that all material handling, documentation, and system entries comply with Navy standards and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Research, identify, and order materials and equipment using Navy supply systems, including NSN and part number lookups.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries; verify accuracy of shipments and documentation.
  • Operate forklift and government vehicle/truck to transport, load, and unload materials as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and tracking of all materials.
  • Assist with ERP “Goods Receipt” processing and documentation for materials received and issued.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain or maintain base driving authorization.

  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties.
  • Proficiency in computer-based systems; experience with Navy ERP or similar supply systems preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Pay Range

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage
$23.78
