Artemis Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Lexington, KY to ensure efficient product movement with high accuracy. You will receive, inspect, and process shipments while maintaining inventory integrity and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in warehousing or distribution, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to become certified).
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsabilités

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and retail store orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Process returns, exchanges, and damaged merchandise.
• Work closely with purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve inventory questions.
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification is a plus).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Help identify ways to improve warehouse efficiency and overall operations.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and accuracy goals.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and takes pride in doing quality work while supporting the team.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus
• Forklift certification is preferred (or willingness to become certified)
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and barcode scanning systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when needed
