Job description

Warehouse Supervisor - Maersk

Ensure all HUB activities comply with company guidelines and governmental regulations regarding Maersk’s status as a Container Freight Station (CFS) and Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF).

Retain records related to bonded (CFS) and screened (CCSF) cargo, including maintaining the CFS log.

Oversee the safe operation of equipment according to company policy and local regulations.

Direct warehouse staff focusing on timely, efficient, and damage-free cargo handling, including proper breakdown and buildup of Unit Load Devices, and loading/unloading of ocean freight containers.

Encourage staff development through training and quality management activities.

Use expertise to guide internal and external stakeholders and act as a liaison when needed.

Complete all assigned trainings promptly.

Collaborate with other HUBs, gateways, and stations to deliver high-quality service to customers.

Report on inventory control, supplier stock, and equipment such as ULDs and containers.

Maintain an organized floor space through cargo control and suggest improvements for cargo flow management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work within a team and manage workload independently with strong attention to deadlines, compliance, and quality.
• Set an example regarding knowledge, work ethic, and reliability.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

Additional Requirements

• Availability for a 40-hour work week during standard business hours, with possible overtime during weekdays, weekends, or holidays. Overtime will be compensated according to applicable laws.
