Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving & Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team in Copiague, NY. You will manage incoming electronic components and outbound orders, ensuring inventory accuracy and safe packaging to meet schedule.

In this role, you will inspect deliveries, label and route parts, generate shipping documents, and coordinate carrier pickups while following ES D and humidity guidelines.

Qualifications

• No degree required; hands-on warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to handle electronic components with care and follow packaging guidelines.
• Experience with ERP/inventory systems and shipping documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries for damage and verify quantities.
• Label, unpack, and route parts to proper bin locations or production.
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and BOLs using carrier software.
• Coordinate carrier pickups and schedule dock deliveries.
• Report discrepancies or shipping errors to procurement promptly.
• Handle sensitive components following ESD and humidity guidelines.
• Ensure shipments leave on schedule and inventory is accurate.
• Select appropriate packaging to prevent freight damage.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving & Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will manage incoming electronic components and outbound orders, ensuring inventory is accurate, delicate devices are safely packaged, and shipments leave on schedule.

Electronics supply chains demand high accuracy and proper handling—from handling moisture-sensitive components to inspecting circuit assemblies. If you thrive in an organized, fast-paced warehouse environment, we’d love to connect.

salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries for damage, verify item quantities against purchase orders, and record received stock in our ERP/inventory system.
• Handle sensitive electronic components according to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and humidity control guidelines.
• Unpack, label, and route incoming parts to proper bin locations or production departments.
• Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or vendor shipping errors to procurement immediately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare finished electronic products and parts for shipment according to customer orders and safety protocols.
• Select appropriate packaging materials (anti-static bags, bubble wrap, custom foam inserts) to prevent freight damage.
• Generate shipping labels, packing slips, customs documentation, and bills of lading (BOLs) using major carrier software (FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL freight).
• Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate dock deliveries.
