Responsibilities

• Manage multiple stockrooms, including bin setup and maintenance.
• Select and issue stock for sales orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Support basic shipping functions and coordinate with external partners as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve space utilization, material flow, and warehouse efficiency.
• Investigate and help resolve inventory, scheduling, and shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow OSHA, FAA, DOT, and company safety requirements.

Salary Range: $24.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Kaman Air Vehicles is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join the team in Bloomfield, CT. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and stockroom management.

The Warehouse Specialist will use Kaman’s ERP/WMS systems to maintain inventory accuracy, support internal and external customers, optimize warehouse workflows, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous aerospace warehouse/logistics experience.
• Experience identifying and resolving scheduling, shipment, and inventory discrepancies.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams, vendors, and management.
• Forklift certification and/or demonstrated forklift experience.
• Experience using pallet jacks and basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs., with occasional heavier lifting.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including gloves and eye protection.
