Job summary

Kaman Air Vehicles in Bloomfield, CT is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will use ERP/WMS systems to maintain accuracy, support customers, and improve space utilization and efficiency.

The role requires forklift experience, cycle counts, and adherence to safety and quality standards, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory control.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control and shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities for internal and external customers.
Perform inventory transactions, including job issues and cycle counts.
Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems.
Manage multiple stockrooms, including bin setup and maintenance.
Support basic shipping functions and coordinate with external partners as needed.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Identify opportunities to improve space utilization, material flow, and warehouse efficiency.
Investigate and help resolve inventory, scheduling, and shipment discrepancies.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
