Job description

Our client is a global distributor of time and temperature sensitive materials, specializing in high-tech applications such as aerospace and composites.

SUMMARY

An ideal candidate will be a skilled warehouse professional with a proven track record of reliability and efficiency in recent roles. The candidate should be able to easily switch between tasks and complete multiple projects using skills and teamwork. The position will start as a general Warehouse Associate, with opportunities for increased responsibility as skills are demonstrated and training is completed.

PAY RATE : $19 - $23 / hr, depending on skills and experience.

SCHEDULE : Monday - Friday, 6 am - 3 pm (hours may vary depending on workload).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review all shipment information such as lot numbers, batch numbers, quantities, ship-to addresses, and other necessary details to ensure accuracy.
• Handle sensitive items with special packing and handling, including sealed chemicals and dry ice shipments.
• Retrieve and manage climate-controlled items.
• Process returns and perform accurate inventory counts as needed.
• Prepare all regulatory paperwork for dangerous goods and international shipping.
• Complete shipping logs at the end of each day and maintain accurate records of inbound materials.
• Process value-added services and set up items in the ERP system.

QUALIFICATIONS

NOTE : Pay rates are determined by the hiring manager and are directly correlated to relevant skills and experience.

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience; experience with international shipping and/or dangerous goods handling is preferred.
• Experience using email, basic computer programs, and intermediate typing skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task throughout the day.
• Excellent work ethic with a self-starter attitude.
• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System) and ERP systems.

Shipping / Receiving experience with FEDEX and/or UPS

Experience with export procedures and forms, including DOT, IATA, and IMDG, is preferred.
