Interface, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Specialist to coordinate carrier scheduling and support warehouse operations across our Georgia facilities. You will align with the Warehouse Manager, manage dock appointments, allocate tasks, and verify order data for efficient fulfillment.

Ideal candidates bring 3 years in distribution or warehouse ops, strong leadership, and solid computer skills, including ERP familiarity (JDEdwards). Safety and teamwork are essential in this fast-moving role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferably three years of experience in distribution or warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership abilities and teamwork orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of shipping and inventory control systems; able to use ERP tools like JDEdwards Enterprise One.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Schedule dock appointments and coordinate carrier activities.
  • Allocate production tasks and communicate to 3PL partner, Kenco.
  • Verify sales order information and process orders through 940 sales order extract.
  • Work flexible schedules, including different shifts or locations; rotations are long-term.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and enforce safety policies.
  • Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with MSDS and environmental rules.
