Interface, Inc. in West Point, GA is seeking a Material Handler to support production by storing, shipping, and receiving yarn and related materials. The role requires forklift operation and license, plus prior forklift experience.
You must read and write proficiently and follow safety, ISO, and MSDS guidelines in a non-climate controlled warehouse. Responsibilities include accurate inbound/outbound shipments, loading/unloading trucks, and using scanners to locate, record, and move materials.
Material Handlers are responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, receiving and delivery to production of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
High school diploma or GED required
Must meet license requirements for powered material handling equipment to include forklift operator license.
Must have previous forklift experience.
Must be able to read and write sufficiently to perform job functions.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Moving yarn boxes weighing up to 250 lbs. with powered material handling equipment.
Non-climate controlled manufacturing environment.
