Summary of Functions

Receives and records shipments, prepares items for storage or distribution, and maintains inventory. Picks supplies for various outlets and manages warehouse stock.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Manage product receipt, storage, and delivery.
  • Record damaged or missing goods and notify shippers.
  • Handle secured items, including gaming supplies.
  • Verify quality and count of incoming merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate receiving logs.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Transport materials between departments.
  • Complete purchase order and inventory documentation.
  • Participate in inventory counts and manage surplus equipment.
  • Maintain safety and organization in the warehouse.
  • Follow all casino policies and procedures, including gaming regulations.
  • Manage deliveries and outgoing parcels, including FedEx and UPS.
  • Print and track purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Perform merchandise pickups and deliveries around Spokane.
  • Protect casino assets and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • At least one year of purchasing, receiving, or warehouse experience.
Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage 500, BirchStreet.
  • Knowledge of warehouse machinery and inventory policies.
  • Strong math, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and work under pressure.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal License.
  • Valid driver’s license; forklift certification preferred.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift objects over 100 pounds.
  • Frequent movement, walking, standing, stooping, and reaching.
  • Visual acuity for detailed work.
Work Environment
  • Occasional exposure to tobacco smoke, mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles.
  • Mostly indoor work with moderate noise levels.
