GEODIS, located in Clayton, IN, is seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse activities, coordinate shipping/receiving tasks, and ensure accuracy in inventory and documentation.

The role requires at least 2–3 years in a similar capacity, forklift operation skills, and SAP/MS Office proficiency. This on-site position offers diverse shifts and opportunities for career growth within a global logistics provider.

Qualificações

• 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with forklift operation and SAP software.

Responsabilidades

• Delegate and monitor work orders to ensure on-time shipments.
• Acts as a liaison between staff and management including reporting processes/incidents to management.
• Ensures staff has necessary and up-to-date training.
• Emphasizes quality over quantity when processing inbound and outbound inventory by using quality control checks.
• Receives inventory into the Company systems to expedite shipment of new materials.

What you will be doing:

• Delegates and monitors work orders to ensure on-time shipments
• Acts as a liaison between staff and management including, but not limited to, relaying information to staff and reporting processes/incidents to management
• Ensures staff has necessary and up-to-date training
• Emphasizes quality over quantity when processing any inbound and outbound inventory by utilizing quality control checks
• Receives inventory into the Company systems in a timely manner to expedite the shipment of new materials received

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training
• Experience using a forklift PC literate to include experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with SAP software
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
