GEODIS in Carson, CA is seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations on a 7am-3:30pm shift. You will delegate work orders, supervise staff, ensure on-time shipments, and maintain safety and inventory accuracy using SAP and MS Excel.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of related experience, and proficiency with forklift operation and MS Office. On-site, full-time position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

What you will be doing:

• Delegates and monitors work orders to ensure on‑time shipments
• Acts as a liaison between staff and management including, but not limited to, relaying information to staff and reporting processes/incidents to management
• Ensures staff has necessary and up‑to‑date training
• Emphasizes quality over quantity when processing any inbound and outbound inventory by utilizing quality control checks
• Receives inventory into the Company systems in a timely manner to expedite the shipment of new materials received

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training
• Experience using a forklift PC literate to include experience with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with SAP software
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
