Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to verify counts and match documents, record receipts, and reconcile discrepancies using SAP and Excel. You will coordinate shipments, including international and hazardous moves, and assist drivers during loading while maintaining logs and packing to PO/SO criteria.

The role requires 2+ years in shipping/receiving, forklift skills, and strong administrative precision in a facilities-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in shipping/receiving with proven packaging experience.
• Forklift and hand truck operation, safe material handling.
• Detail-oriented administrative capabilities.
• Strong computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Verify counts, weights, and measurements for inbound/outbound items against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Record goods receipts; maintain shipment logs in SAP, Excel, and related tools.
• Reconcile reports to resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Package materials to meet PO/SO criteria and packaging best practices.
• Select shipment methods, routes, and rates; schedule pickups with parcel and freight carriers.
• Coordinate international moves and hazardous shipments with Global Logistics and EHS in compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG.
• Assist drivers during loading/unloading; communicate daily with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Track packaging supplies, order crates, and arrange special packing when required.
• Process, label, and route incoming mail; provide general facilities and warehouse assistance as needed.
