Westinghouse Electric Company’s WECTEC Staffing Services seeks a Storeroom Material Handler in New Stanton, PA. The role handles parts moving to/from the storeroom, completes SAP goods movements, and performs inventory cycle counts to keep accuracy. This is a 1-year, temp-to-hire contract.

Responsibilities include storing and locating items in SAP/Excel, loading and labeling stock, and supporting production and deliveries through SAP orders. Lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift use required.

Qualifications

• 0+ years of experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control.
• Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• SAP experience.
• High school degree or equivalent.

• Load, wrap, and label stock on pallets or containers.
• Follow packaging standards and coordinate with internal/external customers and suppliers.
• Operate forklift and hand truck to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Complete physical inventory cycle counts and enter data in SAP.
• Support production by issuing material to SAP Production Orders and to SAP Deliveries.
• Coordinate inventory transfers and subcontracting order requests.
• Support obsolescence review by picking parts and completing SAP and physical scrap dispositions.

About the role: A Storeroom Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of all parts that move to and from the storeroom. You ensure that they complete all required SAP goods movement transactions, and they receive and maintain the correct documentation for parts that they move to and from the storeroom. You are also responsible for completing physical cycle counts of existing inventory to maintain inventory accuracy. You will report to the Inventory Control and Material Handling Supervisor. This is a 1 year, temp to hire contract position located in New Stanton, PA.

Main Responsibilities:

• Arrange, store, and retrieve warehouse items and maintain accurate location records in SAP, Microsoft Excel, or other systems.
• Load, wrap, and mark or label stock or equipment on pallets or containers.
• Follow organization packaging standards of quality and national standards of packaging best- practices. Work with internal customers and external suppliers daily.
• Operate forklift in addition to hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Complete physical inventory cycle counts, enter data in SAP, and maintain logs.
• Support production by picking and issuing material to SAP Production Orders. Support customer deliveries by picking and issuing material to SAP Deliveries.
• Support Planning with inventory transfers. Support Planning with subcontracting order requests.
• Support obsolescence review process by picking parts and completing SAP and physical scrap dispositions.
• Monitor supply inventory and place orders or coordinate orders with Shipping department for packaging material used by personnel from the storeroom and personnel from other departments to package products for storage.

• Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• SAP experience
• High school degree or equivalent
