Job summary

Sotera Health Company in Fort Worth is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Operator to receive, verify, and move product through the facility. You will use a forklift to handle palletized material, record counts and lot numbers, and enter data into the computer system.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of warehouse experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Warehouse experience 6–12 months preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming unprocessed product and verify count, lot numbers, and note damage; enter data into the computer system.
• Operate forklift to move palletized product and transport between processing areas.
• Load palletized product onto trailers and assist with shipping documentation.
• May shrink-wrap finished product for return to customer; coordinate sample shipments.
• May contact trucking companies and schedule pick-ups; assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
