Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves supporting shipping and receiving activities, maintaining dock schedules, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely order fulfillment.

The position offers a 3rd shift with specific hours, weekly pay, on-the-job training, and benefits including medical/dental/vision and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPIs for safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointments and load statuses.
• Coordinate with Operations to distribute workload and manage WMS down to the floor.
• Collaborate with inventory and on-site personnel to resolve order issues.
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $24.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay $36.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $3.00 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule: 3rd Shift Wednesday 12:00am-6:00am, Thursday - Saturday 6:00pm-6:00am

• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
