Job summary

Surestaff, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Coordinator to pick, pack, and ship materials accurately and on time, following customer specifications. The role ensures inventory accuracy, safety, and housekeeping while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The position requires at least 2 years in logistics/shipping, proficiency with carrier platforms, and HS diploma. Pay rate ranges from $18.50 to $22 per hour, with a Monday–Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, based in Illinois.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in logistics, shipping, and/or warehouse.
• Experience with carrier shipping platforms (FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip).
• Proficiency with ERP and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Picks customer orders accurately and packages products according to strict engineering and customer specifications.
• Shipping & Logistics: Determines appropriate delivery services for each order; operates manifest and processing software for FedEx, UPS, and other freight carriers.
• Data Entry & Documentation: Enters shipping data (addresses, quantities, weights) to generate packing slips, tracking info, and required logistics paperwork.
• International Logistics: Processes domestic and international shipments, including the creation of customs invoices and certificates of origin.
• Inventory Management: Performs accurate inventory transactions within the system as material moves through the stockroom
• Safety & Housekeeping: Follows all safe workplace practices, maintains a clean, organizedwork area (5S), and actively eliminates waste.
• Continuous Improvement: Assists in implementing corrective actions for quality or safety issues, and participates in creating, revising, and maintaining team ISO procedures.

Job description

The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator is directly responsible for picking, packing, and shipping materials accurately, on time, damage-free, and according to customer specifications. This role actively participates in achieving team objectives, including safety, shipping quality, continuous inventory accuracy, and workplace housekeeping.

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $22/HR

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00- 4:30 PM

Warehouse Shipping Coordinator Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years in logistics, shipping, and/or warehouse
• Experience using carrier shipping platform such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, etc
• Computer literacy - Email, ERP Systems, Data Entry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification is a plus
