Hunter Truck in New Stanton, PA is hiring a Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. You will unpack, inspect, route shipments, and ensure accuracy against invoices, while coordinating with inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Forklift certification and valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, inspect, and route incoming shipments; record shortages, reject damaged items, and coordinate with inventory control to resolve issues.
• Compare shipment details against invoices, bills of lading, orders, or other records to ensure accuracy for both incoming and outgoing parts.
• Determine if parts are for pickup at the parts counter, delivery to customers, or shop repair orders.
• Stock parts accurately, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and keep items easily accessible.
• Conduct inventory counts with inventory control, including off-site consignment counts when needed.
• Assist in identifying slow-moving inventory, suggest optimal stocking locations, and provide feedback on max inventory levels.
• Work with inventory control on returns to OEM manufacturers, meeting shipment requirements and deadlines.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.) and report any equipment needing repair.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and warehouse supplies.
• Collaborate with drivers and outside sales staff to stage parts for delivery or pickup.
• Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies to reinforce a safe working environment.
