Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead in Indianapolis, IN to supervise a team during the shift, ensuring productivity and safety. The role involves coordinating with the On-Site Manager, assisting with recruiting, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure safety policies and HR guidelines are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms in a timely manner.
• Help manage employee relations with the OSM.
• Load/unload materials and move to staging area.
• Ensure loads are secure and perform daily equipment checks.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments accurately, timely and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Shift(s) A1 600 am - 600 pm Saturday - Monday

Hourly Pay $18.00/hr.

Shift(s) A1 600 am - 600 pm Saturday - Monday
B2 400 pm - 200 am Tuesday - Friday

Location Indianapolis, IN 46231

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
