Job summary

Relogistics in LaGrange, GA is seeking a Shift Lead to maximize team productivity while upholding safety standards. You’ll collaborate with the On-Site Manager to set schedules, support recruitment, and ensure policy compliance during each shift.

This on-site role offers hourly pay of 19.00 and benefits including time off, insurance options, and a 401(k). You’ll load and unload materials, supervise staff, and maintain a clean, safe work environment for our pallet management operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification

Responsibilities

• Set shift/operating schedules with the On-Site Manager to best service local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms.
• Support employee relations with the On-Site Manager.
• Load and unload materials and move to staging areas.
• Check loads are secure and perform daily equipment checks.
• Ensure quality conformance and accurate data entry.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$19.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday-Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am

Location:

LaGrange, GA, 30241

What You’ll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
