Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead for our Carrollton, GA location. You will supervise a team across a Friday-Sunday shift, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to policies while coordinating with the On-Site Manager to meet customer needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Work with On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to service customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange equipment maintenance.
• Assist forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements and document on proper forms.
• Manage employee relations in coordination with the On-Site Manager.
• Load and unload materials and move to staging areas.
• Ensure loads are secure and daily equipment checks are performed.
• Examine products for quality conformance and perform basic data entry.

Job description

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Hourly Pay $19.00/hr.

Shift(s) Friday-Sunday 500am - 530pm

Location Carrollton, GA, 30117

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
