Job summary

Relogistics, located in Douglas, GA, is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise a team Friday–Sunday, 5:00am–5:30pm. Earn $17.75/hour with benefits including paid time off, health options, and 401(k).

You will work closely with the On-Site Manager to optimize shift schedules and service to local customers. The role requires 1 year of lead experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate shift schedules with On-Site Manager.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure safety and HR policies are followed.
• Manage equipment, supplies, and maintenance coordination.
• Assist forklift operations as needed.
• Track and document shift activities accurately.
• Support employee relations locally with the On-Site Manager.
• Load/unload materials and ensure secure transport.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$17.75/hr.

Shift(s):

Friday-Sunday 5:00am - 5:30pm

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
