Job summary
Varsity Facility Services - a KBS Company is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead to join our janitorial crew in York, PA. This full-time role leads a field team in a fast-paced distribution center environment, ensuring safe, efficient cleaning operations and timely escalation handling.
Responsibilities include coordinating shifts, directing staff on tasks, and upholding OSHA safety guidelines. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with weekend options and listed benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environments.
- 1+ years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
- Ability to follow OSHA requirements and forklift instructions.
- Customer service oriented with a positive demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team in a complex task oriented janitorial operation environment.
- Provide direct support to Maintenance Operations Center and Field Operations by responding to escalations.
- Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, breakrooms as needed.
- Follow Janitorial Supervisor Task Process Flowchart.
- Coordinate shift coverage and report progress to management.
