Job description

Join to apply for the Warehouse Selector-Part Time role at Feeser's Food Distributors.

Shift is from 4pm to 9pm, Wednesday through Saturday evenings. Starting pay ranges from $16.50 to $18/hour, with a potential increase after 90 days, plus additional incentive-based pay. Openings are available in the dry, crisper, and freezer departments.

SUMMARY: Order selectors are responsible for filling customer orders and delivering the finished pallet to the correct loading dock, ensuring safety and productivity standards are met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to food safety policies and quality standards.
• Efficiently select customer orders.
• Label each case correctly with a pick label for driver identification.
• Select and ship the correct quantity and product.
• Use a voice-driven selecting system to locate and select products.
• Build pallets with orders and deliver them to the correct loading door.
• Shrink wrap completed pallets before loading.
• Maintain a steady pace in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or safety hazards.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Operate an electric pallet jack.
• Lifting cases weighing up to and exceeding 70 lbs.
• Properly stack products within pallet parameters to prevent damage.
• Read and identify product descriptions and locations accurately.
• Read English and perform basic math calculations.
• Work in varied temperature environments and handle departmental demands.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with a voice-driven pick system.
• Experience operating an electric pallet jack.
