Job summary

Try-It Lancaster in Lancaster, NY is seeking a Warehouse Selector to accurately pick orders and build pallets for delivery. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM–7:30 PM with potential overtime; this is a 55-day probationary position leading to union membership.

You will operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks, handle products up to 165 lbs, follow safety and SOPs, and collaborate with team to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 1–2 years warehousing and forklift experience recommended.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Able to lift up to 165 pounds and perform extensive standing and walking.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with product codes dating system.

Responsibilities

• Select orders accurately for delivery per company standards.
• Construct pallets and lift products weighing up to 165 lbs.
• Operate electric forklifts and pallet jacks; obtain certification.
• Follow OS&H policies and safety procedures.
• Report opportunities or problems to management.
• Complete other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
