Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a warehouse selector in distribution. You will determine earnings by completing orders safely and efficiently, handle pallet trucks and forklifts, and prepare orders for delivery to Publix stores.

Expect a physically demanding role requiring standing, bending, and walking, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and certification in pallet truck and forklift operations are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to work a rotating schedule which includes some weekends and holidays.
• Work fluctuating shifts, when needed.
• Select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing 67 pounds for high velocity and low velocity.
• Stand, bend, stoop, twist, and do repetitive work for long periods of time.
• Operate a pallet truck or forklift without any part of the body exposed outside of the operator compartment.
• Obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before their start date in the position).
• Read, write, identify and verify numbers.

Responsibilities

• YOU determine how much you earn as a warehouse selector by completing orders safely and efficiently.
• Selectors use technology to locate ordered products and prepare them for truck delivery.
• Selectors pull products for Publix stores, place on pallets, and wrap and ready for shipment.
