Job summary

Meijer is seeking dedicated warehouse associates at our distribution center. You will handle product from receiving through storage and final shipment, using pallet jacks and stand-up hi-lo equipment. You’ll ensure order accuracy and maintain safety, quality and sanitation standards across shifts.

Multiple shifts are available (5am-3:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm, 3:15pm-1:45am). Strong teamwork and reliable attendance are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer / technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy.
• Transport product using pallet jacks and stand-up hi-lo.
• Paletize cases weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory controls to meet company standards.
• Maintain sanitation standards.
• Demonstrate 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsible for complete product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from the receiving process, through movement and storage within the warehouse, to final store shipment. Ensures that all all products appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.

What You'll be Doing:

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Use heavy industrial equipment including motorized pallet jacks and stand up hi-lo to transport product
• Continuously select and palletize cases of product weighing up to 75 lbs over the entirety of the shift
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
