OK Grocery, a Giant Eagle warehouse in Crafton, PA, manages a grocery and perishable building. The grocery building operates at ambient temperature, while the perishable building is maintained at 36 degrees year-round. This facility is responsible for selecting and distributing products to 76 company store locations.

Job Description

Warehouse Selectors are responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient selection of damage-free products. You will help fulfill store orders, meet delivery schedules, and promote customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Electric pallet jack experience is a plus
• Education Desired: No high school diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 100 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years old

Job Responsibilities

• Count accurately.
• Select products matching slot numbers and descriptions using a voice-activated warehouse management system.
• Lift and carry cases up to 100 lbs. from various heights onto pallets.
• Meet and maintain productivity standards.
• Construct sturdy, balanced pallets for damage-free shipping.
• Shrink-wrap and stage pallets in proper shipping lanes.
• Communicate safety, equipment, or damage issues to supervisors.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling and availability for shifts and overtime.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including food safety protocols.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.25
