Butler Refrigerated Meats, a Giant Eagle Warehouse, handles meat products that must be kept in a temperature-controlled facility (34 degrees). This facility is responsible for selecting and distributing these products to all company store locations.

Warehouse Selectors are responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient selection of damage-free products. You will help fill our stores' orders, meet delivery schedules, and promote customer satisfaction.

• Preferred Experience: Electric pallet jack experience
• Education: No high school diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 100 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years old
• Ability to pass random drug testing

Job Responsibilities

• Count items accurately.
• Select products by matching slot numbers and descriptions using a voice-activated warehouse system.
• Lift and carry cases up to 100 lbs from various heights.
• Meet and maintain productivity standards.
• Construct stable, damage-free pallet loads.
• Shrink-wrap and stage pallets for loading.
• Communicate safety, equipment, or product issues to supervisors.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling, including overtime as needed.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and company policies.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
