US Foods is hiring a Night Warehouse Selector in Hurricane, WV. You will safely select and palletize customer orders, operate a pallet jack, and use order selecting software to ensure timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English to participate in trainings, safety, and coaching.

• Experience with high-endurance or physically demanding roles is preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or DC environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders safely and accurately, ensuring products are correct and undamaged.
• Palletize and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks safely.
• Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.
• Move pallets to dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders for staging.
• Maintain clean, safe aisles and return equipment to charging area; assist teammates as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Get all the details here. **Night Warehouse Selector – Position Overview**As a Warehouse Night Selector at US Foods, you will play a crucial role in our fast-paced, dynamic environment where speed, agility, and accuracy are key to our success. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently select and prepare customer orders, ensuring that all products are accurately selected and palletized in a timely manner. **Key Responsibilities*** **Selecting:**Safely and accurately select customer orders, confirming that selected products are correct and undamaged.* **Palletizing:**Construct and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.* **Operation:**Conduct pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate electric pallet jacks.* **Fulfillment:**Transfer products from racks to pallets using order selecting software.* **Staging:**Transport products to the designated dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders.* **Collaborate:**Work with the team to maintain clean and safe aisles and return equipment to the charging area.* **Adaptability:** All other duties assigned by management. **Physical Requirements*** Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from less than 0 degrees to over 100 degrees required.* Lift, carry, push, pull, and lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required.* Continuously stand, grasp objects & manipulate objects; occasionally sit; frequently walk, drive pallet jack, climb/balance, stoop/squat, kneel/bend, bend, reach above shoulder, twist, & use manual dexterity.**Qualifications*** Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed.* Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
