Schedule : Sunday-Thursday, 1pm-Finish

Position Summary :

The role involves selecting cases and other containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems. Items are placed on pallets, and completed orders are moved to the loading dock staging area using electric pallet jacks or forklifts, then wrapped, labeled, and prepared for shipment. All tasks are performed in a timely manner, observing safety regulations and ensuring quality standards are met, while maintaining an efficient flow of products. The position requires functioning as a team member within the department and organization, performing any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities :

1. Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
2. Review work schedule, obtain necessary supplies, and prepare for operations. Perform safety checks on pallet jacks or forklifts and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly. Wear all required personal protective equipment and safety gear.
3. Meet productivity and accuracy standards as per location and company guidelines.
4. Place pallets on pallet jacks and operate along assigned multi-level racks to locate products according to order sheets.
5. Manually pick and place the correct stock items from pick slots and racks onto pallets, using single or double pallets as directed.
6. Transport completed palletized orders to the shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallets for staging.
7. Manage batteries by recharging or replacing them, and complete vehicle inspection checklists. Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
