JOB SUMMARY

This position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of products and loading products onto trailers according to established company and customer standards.

• Pay rate: Up to $23.75
• Production incentives for meeting metrics

• Day Shift: Freezer-4:30 AM / Cooler-6 AM / Dry Goods-7:30 AM
• 4-day work week with Saturday OR Sunday required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) safely to select, pull, sort, and stack product weighing about 45 lbs.
• Work in freezer and dry environments, with protective gear provided
• Build pallets following food safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• 6 months warehouse experience preferred or equivalent physical work experience
• Knowledge of safe lifting and food safety guidelines
• Skill in building pallets quickly and accurately
• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and maneuver in tight spaces
• Meet productivity levels, communicate in English, perform basic math, solve problems, follow instructions
• Wear PPE (e.g., safety shoes)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must stand, walk, handle, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift 50-90 lbs., and have good vision. Exposure to cold, heat, humidity, mechanical parts, high places, fumes, loud noise. Reasonable accommodations available.
