Job summary

Meijer is hiring for a warehouse role in Michigan where you will accurately assemble orders, manage receiving and shipping, and maintain strict quality and sanitation standards. The position involves heavy lifting, cold environments, and night/weekend shifts.

You’ll work with drivers and unloaders to ensure efficient operations in our stores. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, solid computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Coordinate with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Complete receiving, order, and shipping processes accurately.
• Maintain building sanitation standards.
• Practice 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for accurately compiling orders for our stores. The job involves heavy lifting and working a cold environment. It does involve working nights and weekends.

What You'll be Doing:

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
