Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC in Windsor Locks, CT seeks a Scrubber Operator to maintain clean docks and aisles, operate the scrubber, and document progress. The role supports safety and efficiency in our warehouse environment.

You will perform routine maintenance on equipment, handle spills, and assist as a Porter when needed, with a start time of 5:00 AM on Tue–Sat and pay of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operating the scrubber machine to scrub the warehouse docks and aisles routinely and recording progress in the daily log
• Cleaning product spills and wet areas as directed by supervisor
• Cleaning and performing routine maintenance to the scrubber machine including reservoir cleaning and refilling solution
• Function as a Porter when necessary
• Scrubbing the repack room daily and moving repack machinery when needed to scrub underneath
• Performing other assigned tasks from supervision

Job Description

• Earn $20.00 per hour


• Tuesday - Saturday


• 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM


• 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT

You will contribute by:

• Operating the Scrubber Machine to scrub the warehouse docks and aisles routinely and recording your progress daily in the log provided to you


• Cleaning product spills and wet areas as directed by your supervisor


• Cleaning and performing routine maintenance to the scrubber machine to include cleaning the reservoir and putting in new solution


• Function as a Porter when necessary


• Scrubbing the repack room daily, occasionally moving repack machinery to scrub underneath it


• Performing other assigned tasks to you by your supervisor

• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.


• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more


• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead


• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height


• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
