Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be certified to operate Electric pallet jack, forklift, and reach truck.
• Must complete Chemical Handling course.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize safety.
• Knowledge of MSDS and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret numbers and labels; follow GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of warehouse sanitation processes.
• Follow GMP-based sanitation procedures and coordinate with QC to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain a safe work environment and identify safety concerns as well as cost-saving opportunities.
• Safely clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and facility to remove soil and contaminants.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow operating manuals.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules and document routine cleaning of facility and production lines.
• Document chemical usage and ensure correct concentrations are used and cleaning is complete.
• Verify that cleaning is complete and passes micro indicator tests.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as cleaning surfaces, scrubbing floors, washing walls and windows; remove debris.
• Follow instructions for safely operating equipment and understand Operators Manual.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized work area and be flexible for any shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
