Job summary

Performance Food Group in Gainesville, FL seeks a Warehouse Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, safe facility across freezer, cooler and dry zones. The role supports essential food distribution operations and requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of sanitation experience, and availability for a 4:00 AM–12:30 PM schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, chemical handling per hazmat sheets, and timely safety training completion. Pallet jack experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months sanitation, cleaning or janitorial experience in a warehouse.
• Must be able to work all three zones: Freezer, Cooler and Dry.

Responsibilities

• Complete work per health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Report unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed by hazmat sheets.
• Complete Pure Safety training modules on time.
• May operate pallet jack to move refuse to designated receptacles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
