Job summary

SGC Foodservice is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Sanitation Worker to keep our warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. You will sanitize floors, equipment, and storage areas, manage waste, and restock cleaning supplies while reporting safety issues to supervisors.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently are essential. Schedule is Monday to Friday with an 8am start.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in sanitation or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Must be able to communicate verbally in English to understand work instructions, communicate with team members, and perform essential job duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize warehouse floors, equipment, and storage areas.
• Dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with company policies.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Inspect and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure overall cleanliness of the facility.
• All other duties as assigned
