Job summary

WinCo Foods Distribution Center in Modesto, CA is seeking a maintenance and housekeeping teammate to ensure a clean, safe and organized working environment for a 24/7 operation. You will handle trash, spills, pallet and rack upkeep, and operate lift equipment with strict adherence to safety policies.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability for night/weekend shifts, and strong communication to coordinate with supervisors and teammates while maintaining food storage safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in freezing to ambient temperatures in a 24/7 operation.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrates initiative and time management for multiple tasks.
• Operate equipment such as rack retrieval, pallet jacks, forklifts, lifts, and pressure washers.
• Communicate effectively and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and empty trash containers and sort recyclables daily.
• Mop floors and clean up spills per safety guidelines.
• Perform general housekeeping and clear aisles.
• Operate man-up forklift and other equipment safely.
• Maintain product storage areas and assist with safety and sanitation tasks.
