Smart Foodservice Stores is seeking a dedicated warehouse custodian to keep the distribution facility clean and well maintained. The role involves sweeping, trash handling, spill cleanup, and light maintenance across the warehouse and offices.

You will operate equipment like pallet jacks and floor scrubbers, document the cleaning schedule, and support maintenance supply orders. Schedule is Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm with occasional Saturdays; starting pay is $19.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing legibly; follow orders; basic mathematical skills.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks, floor scrubber, bailer, trash compactor).

Responsabilités

• Sweeps and cleans entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans spills or damaged product per safety rules.
• Performs light maintenance (bulbs, recycling, leaks).
• Prepares reports documenting cleaning schedule and damages.
• May track maintenance supplies and clean other areas of the warehouse and offices.
