Job summary

US Foods in Spokane is hiring a sanitation worker to maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding facilities. You will operate cleaning equipment, support safety protocols, and document routines and spills as part of a team-led site operation.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic math and reading ability, and the capacity to follow directions with minimal supervision. Competitive benefits and an emphasis on safety are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
• Able to read and write legibly; follow orders; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and cleans entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins and cleans area; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Picks pallets, cleans bays, and recoups damaged product per safety rules.
• Performs light maintenance and tracks cleaning schedule and supplies.
• Operates scrubber, pallet jack and high lift as needed.
