Job summary

US Foods is seeking a sanitation worker to maintain cleanliness of the division building and warehouse. You will sweep and clean all areas, empty trash, pull pallets, and clean product bays; handle spills per food-safety requirements; perform light maintenance tasks; and assist with documenting cleaning schedules.

Starting pay is $23.64 to $26.27 per hour, with overtime possible. Benefits start day one and include 401K with company match up to 6%, medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to read and write legibly and follow orders.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and cleans entire warehouse to maintain cleanliness.
• Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
• Pulls pallets and cleans product bays on a rotating basis.
• Cleans spills or breakages per government and food safety requirements.
• Performs light maintenance duties and orders maintenance supplies.
• Maintains facility grounds and dumpster areas.
• Operates scrubber, pallet jack and high lift if required.
