Job summary

Sysco is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness across warehouse and production areas. You will clean machinery, floors, and workspaces, follow sanitation and safety policies, and assist with general maintenance to support smooth operations in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and compliance with all site rules. A GED or equivalent is preferred, with at least one year of sanitation experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One-year on-the-job sanitation / maintenance experience required.
• Experience operating a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize different types of machinery, support equipment, and conveyors.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and specific work areas.
• Clean, mop, sweep, and other general warehouse maintenance duties.
• Prioritize work orders in importance of departmental needs.
• Responsible for adhering to all Food, Sanitation and Safety policies.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facilities property by picking up trash/debris throughout the property and by addressing all opportunities to improve sanitation.
