Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Custodian for general custodial care and sanitation of the warehouse under supervision. You will perform duties safely, accurately, and meet productivity goals in a full-time warehouse setting.

The role requires 18+ years of age, 1 year of warehouse experience, and the ability to work night shifts. Expect responsibilities spanning cleaning, floor care, and recycling tasks in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year warehouse related experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision and have strong attention to details.
• Must be able to work Night Shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties throughout the facility including dusting, sweeping, washing, wiping, scrubbing, shoveling, and mopping.
• Climb ladders as needed to perform duties.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and dispose of trash daily; clean spills.
• Clean cooler floors, dry warehouse, aisles, and mezzanine areas.
• Scrub floors in aisles, cooler areas, and docks; preserve floor care with power equipment.
• Maintain parking lots and front sidewalks; remove hazardous debris.
• Complete daily sanitation log for planning and evaluation of activities.
• Assist with stretch wrap and cardboard recycling tasks; transport to balers and bale packaging.
• Dust and vacuum warehouse racks; remove cobwebs; clean restrooms as needed.
• Work with supervisor to minimize warehouse shrink and ensure neat work areas.
• Maintain accurate warehouse locations during slot cleaning; report unsafe issues.
