Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Oakwood, GA, is seeking a warehouse sanitation associate to perform cleaning and sanitation tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer zones. The role requires operating a pallet jack to move refuse to receptacles and adhering to all safety guidelines.

You will follow health and safety policies, complete required Pure Safety training, and be certified to operate the necessary equipment. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00pm - 4:00am.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 3–6 months general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation tasks in warehouse areas including dry, cooler and freezer zones.
• Operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to receptacles.
• Follow safety rules and complete duties per business needs.
• Handle cleaning chemicals per hazmat sheets and safety training requirements.
• Complete assigned training modules and other related duties as assigned.

Reports any and all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates. Is certified to operate all required equipment. Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick up and related sanitation tasks. Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets. Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules. Completes all assignments and timely and accurately. Performs other related duties as assigned.
