Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Bowling Green, KY is hiring for a Sanitation, Warehouse role focused on maintaining a clean, safe workplace and supporting essential food distribution operations.

You will perform janitorial tasks in dry, cooler and freezer areas, follow health and safety policies, and may operate pallet jacks. This full-time position offers Day 1 benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• General sanitation or janitorial work experience is required.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including dusting, sweeping, mopping and trash pickup.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all required safety training modules.
• May operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

6+ months general sanitation and/or janitorial work experience
