Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Porter to ensure clean, safe warehouse areas for customers and staff. The role includes daily sanitation logging and HACCP-compliant cleaning.

Typical duties involve sweeping, restroom and floor area maintenance, trash handling, and assisting with maintenance tasks; the porter may be asked to perform minor facility touchups and light maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Good sanitation guidelines and HACCP awareness.
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment with basic competence.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep/general cleaning of interior and exterior building areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, windows, doors, and coffee area.
• Maintain trash containers and operate trash compactor and floor scrubbing machine.
• Clean spills and assist with break room upkeep on schedule.
• Support department managers in aisle cleaning and general maintenance.
• Verify HACCP guidelines and sanitation logs as required.
