Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Porter to keep the warehouse clean and safe for customers and staff. The role covers sanitation, daily log verification, and operation of cleaning equipment in a HACCP-compliant environment.

Responsibilities include sweeping, restroom upkeep, window and area cleaning, trash and floor care, spill management, and general maintenance. Flexible duties may be assigned by the branch manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Understand basic sanitation guidelines.
• Basic understanding of operating floor machine, baler, and compactor helpful.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• General sweeping of interior/exterior premises.
• General cleaning and maintenance of restrooms.
• Cleaning of windows, doors, and coffee area as needed.
• Maintenance of trash containers on premises.
• Operate trash compactor, cardboard baler, and floor scrubbing machine as needed.
• Clean spills in the warehouse as needed.
• Tidy employee break room per schedule.
• Assist department managers in aisle cleaning as needed.
• Verify HACCP guidelines and sanitation logs.
• Assist management with other assigned duties.
