Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness and safety across our warehouse in Connecticut. The role involves cleaning required areas, maintaining sanitation logs per HACCP guidelines, and supporting maintenance tasks such as minor touchups and lighting checks.

Strong communication and physical endurance are essential. The porter will perform routine duties including sweeping, restroom cleaning, window and area upkeep, trash management, and operation of cleaning equipment

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow sanitation guidelines.
• Basic understanding of operating floor machines, balers, and compactors is helpful.
• Willingness to perform general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep interior and exterior areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and windows as needed.
• Maintain trash containers and operate waste equipment when required.
• Ensure HACCP logs and sanitation records are completed daily.
• Assist branch management with various tasks as needed.
